The Society for Philosophy and Geography announces the following session for the 2000 Pacific Division American Philosophical Association meeting, April 5-8, 2000, Albuquerque, New Mexico:
"Moral and Political Dimensions of Urbanism."

Papers and abstracts are invited on the topic above or other general topics for philosophy and geography.  All philosophical
viewpoints are welcome.  Papers might address, but are not limited to: philosophical anthropology, the importance of place for ethical practice, reflections on architecture, the importance of place for politics.

All final papers in the session will be considered for the upcoming volume of _Philosophy and Geography_.
