Papers in any philosophical area are welcome. Membership is not required for consideration or acceptance. 2. The paper should not exceed 4000 words (reading time 30 minutes). 3. Graduate students who submit papers must indicate their status as graduate students to be eligible for the competition of the graduate student presentation award. 4. Papers under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere are welcome. 5. Postmarked deadline for paper submission is September 10, 1999.

The Creighton Club, founded in 1921, has since been the principal meeting ground for philosophers in upstate New York. Our annual meeting consists of one invited paper, and four selected papers. Usually one of these four papers will be a specially selected graduate student paper. All presented papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Creighton Club.
